Privacy Policy

1. Data We Collect

This extension does not collect data to a developer-owned server.

Data is stored locally in the user's browser storage:

• Job search settings
• User profile and CV summary fields entered by the user
• Extension run logs and saved Q&A memory
• User-provided OpenAI API key

2. Data Sent to Third Parties

When the user enables and runs the extension, data is sent to OpenAI APIs directly from the user's browser:

• User questions and form context
• User profile information needed to answer questions
• Screenshot data (when Vision AI is enabled)
• Custom instructions entered by the user

This data is sent only to OpenAI for generating answers and page-action guidance.

3. No Developer Backend

The extension does not transmit user data to any backend operated by the extension developer.

4. Permissions and Why They Are Needed

• storage: Save settings, profile, logs, and learned answers locally.
• tabs, activeTab: Navigate and interact with the current SEEK tab during user-initiated runs.
• scripting: Ensure content script availability on SEEK pages.
• sidePanel: Show the extension dashboard UI.
• Host permissions for seek.com.au and seek.com: Run automation on SEEK pages only.
• Host permission for api.openai.com: Call OpenAI APIs with the user's key.

5. User Control

Users can:

• Edit or delete saved answers in the extension settings
• Clear logs
• Stop a run at any time
• Remove the extension to delete extension access

Users can also clear extension data through Chrome extension storage settings.

6. Data Retention

Data remains in local browser storage until the user edits, deletes, or removes it.

7. Children's Privacy

This extension is not directed to children under 13.
