The low height profile makes this magnet particularly resistant to shearing forces and sideways pressure which makes it ideal for holding and positioning applications. The low height dimension means this magnet has less overall strength than magnets with a thicker profile, however, this is particularly advantageous for applications that required a larger surface to glue to the base of a non-magnetic object.
