Riverbourne Identity #8 Bourbon Cask Single Malt Australian Whisky (500mL)

Riverbourne is a remarkable little distillery, found in the tiny NSW town of Jingera (population of 39 in the last census). This dram, batch number 8 of their Identity expression – a pun on a certain famous spy thriller series – has been aged in two ex-French oak casks. With a restrained oak influence, this whisky does an excellent job of showcasing the core character of the distillery’s spirit – which drives the flavour here.
